This is a variation of the above two situations, with some experience and strategy rolled in. You gotta check out the MM, find the radar ships, and then play in a manner where they can't catch you out until you know where they are located and/or know they've popped radar.
This takes the game into a deeper level of strategy. Of course, the deeper game is the MO player that sneaks up on you. Complaining about radar in this situation is like banging your head against the wall and complaining about the wall making your head hurt.
Granted, there are some folk that see the MO coming and decide to smoke up in radar range anyway. And die quickly without doing much with your mains, secondaries, or radar. From the Mighty MO perspective, you spot no one with radar, are faced with a wall of torps, HE, and AP.
The smart ones will send a torp wave at you before they are in radar range, extend and spot if necessary, and let their friendly CAs and BBs take you out. However later in game it may help you.ĭDs can see you coming. So more often than not agressive use of radar will get you killed.
